AARRON.COM art poetry tattoos and life

The Zombie Dolls came about after I had what was for me a revelation. Women are messed up! ~ Now I am not talking about confused, selfish childish female whims here... I am talking about what is on the inside.
These paintings are what is inside. This is the spirit that I see when I looked at each girl or remembered them from my past.
They are not evil, they are wounded. It is my belief that women hurt themselves over and over with decisions and actions that they just can't help.
These actions create wounds on the soul. The wounds never heal.
Why stitches? ~ These women who's souls have been so shredded, cut, wounded can not heal, but must go on. They sew themselves up, and pretend they are ok. The more they are hurt in life or hurt themselves the more they must hurt others. It is a viscous cycle that never ends. Is there hope for them? No! Once a women becomes a zombie doll inside there is no turning back.

If your really want to understand the zombie dolls I recommend you take the time to read the poetry that I have written to go with the zombie dolls flash series. I took the time to try and explain exactly what they are and what they do in those poems.

The Zombie Dolls
Mona

~
A soft spoken promise,
A tender embrace,
A perfectly told lie,
said to your face.
The Zombie Dolls
Clairise
~
A soul not black,
Not evil or cruel,
A soul so empty, devoid of cares.
The Zombie Dolls
The Demons took her

I think I was listening to Perfect Circle way to much when I did this one.

The Zombie Dolls
Untitled

~
Sometimes I find women to be completely void of all emotion.
A straight razor too seems void of all emotion in the exact same way to me.
So sharp, so perfect, able to cut so smoothly that you can't even feel any pain, yet at the same time cut so deep that the wound may be your undoing.
The Zombie Dolls
The loving wife
~
Do they care when it is over?
Can they?

The Zombie Dolls
Spiritualized

~
Blind? or Blinded? Able to see all? The past? Or the present? Maybe the future?
A sacred dove or the holy spirit?
A dream?
What more?

The Zombie Dolls
Remorse
~
Sometimes I am at a loss for words when it comes to expressing an emotion (or lack of one) but I seem to be able always to create with paint those feelings I just can't put into words.

Ambrosia
~
Strong of the body,
Strong of the mind,
her broken spirit left behind.

The Zombie Dolls
Rose
~
A serious game was her love,
To serious a game for one so young.
Once shattered so it was fated,
Forever a soiled dove.

The Zombie Dolls
Laura

~
Cut away the history,
all the things I've done for you.
cut away the memories,
Nothing left you need to do.

These are not all of the Zombie Doll paintings I have done.
I guess you could call it a random sampling.
Also It should be noted that a few that I have called Untitled actually have tittles in my mind. I just have yet to make them official. I must get to know them better I suppose before I give them a true name. I must make sure the name fits perfectly.
