As a kid I loved the smell of butane and fireworks. When I got older I got tired of the whole firecrackers thing and ended up having a bic in my pocket rather than the Zippo lighters I had grown up with. No clue why that is, but that it is how it went. Still though... every 4th when I go see fireworks displays or end up at a party, if someone starts using a butane lighter and I get a wiff of those combined smells it brings back a glimps of childhood.
