I saw her again just yesterday
My soul once more caught fire.
Her eyes with golden speckles met mine
Never will my body ache more.
The pain in my heart, a pain so real.
My body would not obey me,
Her voice so warm and full of sunshine
I burned as if in a blazing fire.
Oh, How I thought that I could die
With an angel of warmth standing before me.
The rest of the world turns to a blur
Leaving only her golden beauty.
I felt the tears form in my eyes,
Holding them back with a painted smile
Chills of wonder crawl over my body,
I strive for composure with each breath.
How can something be so wonderful,
Bringing me to my knees.
She must know what power she has
The smile on her lips could not be for others.
To touch just once with true love returned
I would sell my soul to her.
My life is nothing without her
Without her I fear it will always be.
