This is one of those things that just happen sometimes.
I was screwing around in Photoshop with a charcoal sketch I had made and came up with this bit of fun.
Click the image to see it bigger and read some notes.
The original sketch is a bit of a parody.
I am often approached when out to dinner or at a bar by women who immediately strike this pose and say things like… “Hi, you did my tattoo a long time ago. Do you remember?” Or “Hi, I’m (insert name) and I want a tattoo from you so bad.”
They usually show me a tattoo or the body part they are wishing to get tattooed.
In a bar setting this is not a bad thing per se, except that usually these people never actually come into the studio unless I already know them.
In a restaurant however when dining with family or friends it can be a bit odd, sometimes humorous, and if the girl has a buzz (about half the time she does) annoying.
I don’t mind flirtation in it’s proper place, but flirting while I eat while ignoring everyone else at my table is a bit uncomfortable for all except the buzzed girl.
On the other hand… my wife has become used to it.
We are able to just get back to our meal afterwards.
